Song of the Day!

They Way of the Fist - Five Finger Death Punch

Break this shit down!
Zoltan, open the sky!

You want it,
You got it,
Everything you needed and more.
You said it,
I heard it,
Careful what you wish for.
Deleted, defeated,
Everything you've ever been.
No mercy,
It's the way of the fist.

Strapped with rage,
Got no patience for victims.
Sick and tired of the whole fucking war.

I don't remember asking you,
About your imperfections.
You might win one battle;
But know this,
I'll win the fucking world.

End of the goddamn road!
Right!

Step to me,
Step to me, motherfucker.
Zip your lip,
You've run out of time.
Step to me,
Step to me, motherfucker.
Talk the talk,
Now walk the damn line.

Deserve it, you earned it,
Got yourself a fucking war.
Believe it, you need it.
Face down of the fucking floor.
I hate it, can't take it.
Wanna break your fucking bones.
No mercy, you faggot.
Should've left it all alone.

Strapped with rage,
Got no patience for victims.
Sick and tired of the whole fucking world.

I don't remember asking you,
About your imperfections.
You might win one battle;
But know this,
I'll win the fucking war.

1,
2,
Fuck,
You!
Right!

Step to me,
Step to me, motherfucker.
Zip your lip,
You've run out of time.
Step to me,
Step to me, motherfucker.
Talk the talk, walk the damn line.
Step to me,
Step to me, motherfucker.
Shut your face, it's your turn to die.
Step to me,
Step to me, anybody.
Talk the shit, your ass is mine.

I don't remember asking you,
About your imperfections.
You might win,
One battle.
But know this,
I'll win the fucking war.

Song of the Day!

Monster You Made - Pop Evil

Take a good look at me now.
Do you still recognize me?
Am I so different inside?
This world is trying to change me,
And I admit, I don't want to change with it;
And I admit, I can't go on like this,
Anymore.

Erase this monster I've become.
Forgive me for all the damage done.
It's not over,
Say it's not over.
I'm begging for mercy.
I'm only the monster you made me.

I'm better alone now.
See, I'm torn from my mistakes;
And I stop believing that I could ever make things change.
How much can I take,
When I know that it hurts you?
How long can I wait,
When I can't go on like this,
Anymore?

Erase this monster I've become.
forgive me for all the damage done.
It's not over,
Say it's not over.
I'm begging for mercy.
I'm only the monster you made me.

Because who I am ins't who I used to be.
I'm not invincible.
I'm not indestructible.
I'm only human,
Can't you see,
The beauty in me?

Take a good look at me now.
Can't you see I've changed?

Erase this monster I've become.
Forgive me for all the damage done.
It's not over,
Say it's not over.
I'm begging for mercy.
I'm only the monster you made me.

Far away,
Through the pain,
I hear the angels calling.
The monster you made me.

Far away,
Through the pain,
I see the demons falling.

Erase this.
(Far away,
Through the pain),
Erase this.
(I hear the angels calling).

Erase this.
Monster you made me.
(Far away,
Through the pain,
I see the demons falling).

Book Haul

I went to Barnes and Noble on Black Friday. I wasn't looking for any deals, I just had some money to spend.

I got Misery and Carrie by Stephen King and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne.

Song of the Day!

Seize The Day - Avenged Sevenfold

Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost.
It's empty and cold without you here.
Too many people to ache over.

I see my vision burn,
I feel my memories fade with time;
But I'm too young to worry.
The streets we traveled on,
Will undergo our same lost past.

I found you here,
Now please just stay for a while,
I can move on with you around.
I had you my mortal life,
But will it be forever?
I'd do anything for a smile,
Holding you 'til our time is gone.
We both know the day will come,
But I don't want to leave you.

I see my vision burn,
I feel my memories fade with time;
But I'm too young to worry.

A melody,
A memory,
Or just one picture.

Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost.
It's empty and cold without you here.
Too many people to ache over.

Newborn life replacing all of us,
Changing this fable we live in.
No longer needed here,
So where do we go?
Will you take a journey tonight?
Follow me past the walls of death.
But, girl, what if there is no eternal life?

I see my vision burn,
I feel my memories fade with time;
But I'm too young to worry.

A melody,
A memory,
Or just one picture.

Seize the day or die regretting the time we lost.
It's empty and cold without you here.
Too many people to ache over.
Trails in life,
Questions of us existing here.
Don't want to die alone without you here.
Please tell me what we have is real.

So, what if I never hold you,
Or kiss your lips again?
So, I never want to leave you,
And the memories of us to see,
I beg don't leave me.

Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost.
It's empty and cold without you here.
Too many people to ache over.
Trails in life,
Questions of us existing here.
Don't want to die alone without you here.
Please tell me what we have is real.

Silence you lost me,
No chance for one more day.
Silence you lost me,
No chance for one more day.
(Silence you lost me,
No chance for one more day).
I stand here alone.
(Silence you lost me,
No chance for one more day).
Falling away from you,
No chance to get back home.
(Silence you lost me,
No chance for one more day).
I stand here alone.
(Silence you lost me,
No chance for one more day).
Falling away from you,
No chance to get back home.

Song of the Day!

'Til I Hear You Sing - Ramin Karimloo

The day starts,
The day ends,
Time crawls by.
Night steals in,
Pacing the floor.
The moments creep,
Yet I can't bear to sleep,
'Til I hear you sing.

And weeks pass,
And month pass,
Seasons fly.
Still you don't walk through the door.
And in a haze,
I count the silent days,
'Til I hear you sing once more.

And sometimes,
At night time,
I dream that you are there;
But wake holding nothing but the empty air.

And years come,
And years go,
Tim runs dry.
Still I ache down to the core.
My broken soul can't be alive and whole,
'Til I hear you sing once more.

And music,
Your music,
It teases at my ear.
I turn and it fades away,
And you're not here.

Let hopes pass,
Let dreams pass,
Let them die.
Without you what are they four?
I'll always feel no more than halfway real,
'Til I hear you sing,
Once more.

Song of the Day!

Desperate Times - Killswitch Engage

Time and time again,
I stand at the crossroads,
Where the weight of my burden,
Eclipses my resolve.
This broken path I've chosen,
I walk it alone.
Though I feel forgotten,
You've carved my name in stone.

In these desperate times,
This I plead,
When all else fails,
Remember me.

This is daily crucifixion,
And these rusty nails leave scars.
My jagged crown is on my side,
Because it never fell.

In these desperate times,
This I plead,
When all else fails,
Remember me.

This is a blood-oath.
They are nothing to me anymore,
But your voice means more to me,
Than you'll ever know.

There's no question.
You're the answer.
I will find you...

In these desperate times,
This I bleed.
When all else fails,
Remember me.

In these desperate times,
This I bleed.
When all else fails,
Remember me.

Song of the Day!

Lost It All - Avenged Sevenfold

Run away,
I'm living with a hole inside.
A piece of me that I have yet to find.
Edge of reason,
Lines uneven,
Turn me off,
Feel the blood so cold.
Like a product that was bought and sold,
Asking me for the impossible.

I ain't waiting for a miracle,
I ain't waiting for the world to change.
Under my skin lives the reason,
Under my armor, I lost it all.

No more faith,
No savior made of our design.
Fooled me before, I tell ya' not this time.
Raped my body,
Lost my vision,
Lost my mind,
I had to let it go.
Another day living irrational.
Another day inside this dying soul.

I ain't waiting for a miracle,
I ain't waiting on the world to change.
Under my skin lives the reason.
Under my armor, I lost it all.

There's something in your eyes,
I part of me that I recognize.
I wanna let you know,
We'd be there if we could,
And it's alright.
You taught me how to feel.
It's no wonder I'd do anything.
Tell me, why'd you have to go?
With the worst to come, lost the best I know.
Time - Seems like we lost it all.

Burn it all,
Burn it to the fucking ground.
Believe the words that I don't want me around.
Life revision,
Indecision,
World collision,
And heads will roll.
Nothing left except the pain to show.
Mental manic driven overflow.

I ain't waiting for a miracle,
I ain't waiting for the world to change.
Under my skin lives the reason.
Under my armor, I lost it all.

Song of the Day!

A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation - Trivium

You starve your children on neglect,
Then feed their bellies with fear.
Concussion bat to the brain,
Witness to a battered mother.

Your abuse will end right here.
No longer will your family fear.
A gunshot to the head of trepidation,
My promise if you ever lay a finger.

Just look at the scars you make.
Your terror makes your kids break.
A broken home just as you were raised,
With fist raised up to your children.

Your abuse will end right here.
No longer will your family fear.
A gunshot to the head of trepidation,
My promise if you ever lay a finger.

This battle is on all,
You've made beautiful now hateful.
You wretched life wrecker,
Abuser,
Now suffer.

Open fire,
On the desire of the man.
Open fire,
With strife we'll strike down the hand.
(Open fire, build the pyre),
If I can't make you see the damage you've made,
(Open fire, build the pyre),
I'll make you wish you'd never been alive.

Open fire,
On the desire of the man.
Open fire,
With strife we'll strike down the hand.
Open fire,
On the desire of the man.
Open fire,
Wither strife we'll strike down the hand.
(Open fire, build the pyre),
If I can't make you see the damage you've made,
(Open fire, build the pyre),
I'll make you wish you'd never been alive.

Song of the Day!

Purple - Pop Evil

Such a beautiful color,
You wear upon your skin,
And a perfect shade of purple,
On a flower permanent.
And I'm constantly reminded of a past that never bloomed.
As I sit behind these bars,
Only silence fills the room.

I've never been down this road before,
As the days go by, I only miss you more.
I thought one day, we would touch the sky.
Never grow up, never gonna die.
I never realized what you meant to me 'till I tried drowning out your memory.
But it burns red, like it's not over.
It only hurts when I'm sober.

Such a beautiful color,
I wear upon my skin,
and a perfect shade of purple,
On a flower permanent.
And I'm constantly reminded,
Of how I should've changed.
And now I can't stop thinking about the love that slipped away.
It slipped away.

I've never been down this road before.
As the days go by, I only miss you more.
I thought one day, we would touch the sky.
Never grow up, never gonna die.
I never realized what you meant to me 'till I tried drowning out your memory.
But it burns red, like it's not over.
It only hurts when I'm sober.

You're all that I ever wanted,
You're all that I ever needed.
And now I'm spending a lifetime,
Drowning without you.
I'm starting over and over again.

Such a beautiful color,
You wear upon your skin,
And a perfect shade of purple,
On a flower permanent.

Song of the Day!

Remember Everything - Five Finger Death Punch

Dear mother,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
I wasn't good enough.
Dear father,
Forgive me,
'Cause in your eyes,
I've just never added up.

In my heart I know I've failed you,
But you left me here alone.

If I could hold back the rain,
Would you numb the pain?
'Cause I remember everything.
If I could help you forget,
Would you take my regrets?
'Cause I remember everything.

Dear brother,
Just don't hate me,
For never standing by you,
Or being by your side.
Dear sister,
Please don't blame me.
I only did what I thought was truly right.

It's a long and lonely road,
When you know you walk alone.

If I could hold back the rain,
Would you numb the pain?
'Cause I remember everything.
If I could help you forget,
Would you take my regrets?
'Cause I remember everything.

I feel like running away,
I still so far from home.
You say that I'll never change,
But what the fuck do you know?
I'll burn it all to the ground before I let you in.
Please forgive me,
I can't forgive you now.
I remember everything.

If I could hold back the rain,
Would you numb the pain?
'Cause I remember everything.
If I cold help you forget,
Would you take my regrets?
'Cause I remember everything.

It all went by so fast,
But I still can't change the past.
I always will remember everything.
If we could start again,
Would that have changed the end?
We remember everything.
Everything.

Rose of Sharyn - Killswitch Engage

Numb and broken,
Here I stand alone.
Wondering what were the last words I said to you.
Hoping, praying,
That I'll find a way to turn back time.
Can I turn back time?

What would I give,
To behold,
The smile, the face of love?
You never left me,
The rising sun will always speak your name.

Numb and broken,
Here I stand alone.
Wondering what were the last words I said to you.

It won't be long,
We'll meet again.

What would I give,
To behold,
The smile, the face of love.
You never left me,
The rising sun will always speak your name.

It won't be long,
We'll meet again.
Your memory is never passing.
It won't be long,
We'll meet again.
My love for you is everlasting.

I mourn for those who never knew you.
I mourn (I mourn) for those (for those) who never knew you.
Who never knew you!

It won't be long,
I'll meet again.
Your memory is never passing.
It won't be long,
We'll meet again.
My love for you is everlasting.

It won't be long,
We'll meet again.

Song of the Day!

Down from the Sky - Trivium

A chasm grows,
In the cavity of serpentine teeth.
Hunger pain strike,
For the sweet feast of innocent blood,
Of innocent bloodshed.
Now here we go.

The vampires feed on the wars of mankind.
The vampires feed on the wars of mankind.

Growing fat on the throne of an empire.
Tyrant rules with the threat of the great fire.

I've opened up my eyes,
Seen the world for what it's worth.
Tears rain down from the sky.
They'll blow it all to bits,
To prove who's god wields all the power.
Fire rains down from the sky.

The gaping wounds,
Hemorrhaging the blood from which they feast.
Eat us alive,
Consumed to feed a hunger with no
A hunger with no end.
Let's fucking go.

This battle's not the same which they have led us to believe.
A synthesis of propaganda,
Terror and disease.
We are the cattle they all slaughter.
Our meat - gasoline.

They pump us through the machine's valves to cleanse the world's "disease",
We are the ammunition that will cause all life to cease.

Annihilate,
All those who stand in their way.
Obliterate,
They'll rain their holocaust down from the sky.

Annihilate,
All those who stand in their way.
Obliterate,
They'll rain their holocaust down from the sky.

Song of the Day!

Never Tear Us Apart - Neon Trees

Don't ask me,
What you know is true.
Don't have to tell you,
I love your precious heart.

I,
I was standing.
You were there.
Two worlds collided.
And they could never tear us apart.

We could live,
For a thousand years.
But if I hurt you,
I'd make wine from your tears.
I told you we could fly.
Cause we all have wings,
But some of us don't know why.

I,
I was standing.
You were there.
Two worlds collided.
And they could never, ever tear us apart.

I,
I was standing.
You were there.
Two worlds collided.
And they could never tear us apart.

You were standing.
I was there.
Two worlds collided.
And they could never tear us apart.

11/9/12

Sometimes in English class, my teacher will give us a prompt and we have to continue the story. I've thought about posting these on this blog for a while, but I felt like this is a good one to start out with. I hope you enjoy it.

He pointed me toward the opening in the tree.
"I'm sure you'll be pleased. Its surprisingly large once you're inside."

Finish the story.

I looked from him to the tree.
"What do you mean?" I said.
"Just go and see!" He said, lightly pushing me toward the tree.
I walked toward the opening. As I got closer, a feeling of pure happiness filled my soul.
     "Go experience Underland."
I got down on my knees and crawled toward the opening. It was pitch black. I started to turn around, but was immediately shot down when my hand slipped of the edge of what seemed like a very large cliff.
A scream escaped my lips as I plummeted through the dark abyss.

Book Haul!

Today, my mom randomly decided to take me to Walmart. While there, I found two books that I wanted. Her being the awesome mom that she is, bought them for me.

I got The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien and Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick.
